As we begin a new week I would like to take time to remember the September 11th attacks and those that lost their lives during these tragic events.
These attacks shocked the world and were condemned by governments across the globe. The immediate response following the attacks included memorials and vigils, not only in New York City and the United States, but internationally as well. The 9/11 attacks changed the course of history. They led to other events that impact our lives today.
Today we honor the memory of the lives that were lost on September 11, 2001, in New York City, at the Pentagon, and in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. We remember the heroic efforts of our first responders and the individuals who sacrificed their own lives on United Flight 93 to prevent other Americans from losing theirs.

Austin High has made a few changes since last school year. The Main Entrance is now located on the west side of campus. The Main Office, Attendance Office, and Health Room have been relocated directly in front of the new west side Main Entrance (Room 148). Please call the main line at 512-414-2505 if you have any questions or concerns.
We ask that ALL visitors park and enter on the WEST SIDE of the building. All exterior doors will remain locked at all times. Visitors may request entrance to the school by pushing the button on the call box located by the exterior door farthest to the left at the west side Main Entrance. Upon entering the building, all visitors need to check in to the new Main Office to receive a visitor label via the Raptor system before moving further into the building. ALL VISITOR LABELS MUST BE WORN AND VISIBLE THROUGHOUT THE VISIT TO OUR CAMPUS.
Visitors should park on the west side of campus. The east side of campus, including the parking lots and the circle drive, is designated for staff, buses, and students with parking permits.
Please assist us in improving our campus traffic flow by following the drop-off/pick-up procedures.
